Changes to Weekend Mass times at St Augustine’s and Holy Family Churches

In the light of Fr Seamus Doyle’s continued ill-health, Fr Greg Price and Fr David Russell have withdrawn the following Masses:

Sunday Holy Family 9.30am

Sunday St Augustine’s 11.00 am

This will take effect on 21/22nd January 2017 until further notice. Holy Family will be served by one Mass – Saturday Vigil at 6.00pm, and St Augustine’s by two Sunday Masses, 9.15am and 6.30pm, all other weekend Masses remaining the same in the other Darlington Churches.

Boxing Day Family Quiz

We held our annual Boxing Day Quiz this year again. A great turnout and a wonderful quiz prepared by last years winners. With the usual dodgy questions, bad scores and lots of fun, it was a great success!

All winnings were donated back to HCPT Group 25 who we chose to support.

Christmas Nativity

What a wonderful Christmas period we have had here at St Williams. Starting with our annual Christmas story brought to us by the children of the parish. This year we took it back to basics and the children told the story in candlelight, with the whole church lit by candles, each of which had been placed in memory of someone.

The children put so much effort into telling the story and their costumes. Have a look at a few pictures here.
