Grateful thanks to all who have prepared our church, not only for Christmas but throughout the past year.

To those behind the scenes who have supported iur church and enabled us to keep St William’s open and safe.

Unfortunately due to the rise in covid cases and the increasing prevalence of the Omicron variant, Bishop Robert has taken the decision that all church halls should close with immediate effect (with limited exceptions).

For us that means Coffees after mass are cancelled for the foreseeable future. It was lovely to have them back for a few weeks 😊

The situation will be reviewed in January and we will keep you posted as soon as we have any further information.

The Church has entered a Synodal process at the instigation of His Holiness. This is a process of discernment for the whole Church. You will find today, as you leave, a small list of questions that we would ask you to give your attention to and to return your reflections to church by the last Sunday of November. They then will be part of our Partnership presentation to the diocese which will then be sent to Rome.
